Polgar is very popular, and when Chess24 made their ranking of the greatest players ever she was the one that most comments were unhappy about not having been included. I wouldn’t rank her ahead of players like Keres and Caruana though.
On missing players, I think Korchnoi and Ivanchuk are rather underestimated to be ranked below Polgar, Khalifman, So, Kasimdzhanov, Ponomariov, Ding Liren, Nakamura and Grischuk.
Korchnoi qualified for three matches against Karpov that could have made him World Champion and lost two of them with the smallest possible margin. Still stayed clear #2 for a decade.
Ivanchuk has a long list of super tournament wins, like Linares 1991 where he won against among others Kasparov, Karpov, Anand, Gelfand and Kamsky.
