Who is the best Norwegian chess player right now?

Norway has so many great chess players that it's hard to say which one of them is the best. What do people think?

GM Aryan Tari

I've never heard of him before, but I just looked him up, and he was the 2015 Norwegian Chess Champion. So yeah, it would seem that he has a decent case for being the best Norwegian player.

Any other suggestions?

i like magnus carlsen.

he hasn't been the norwegian chess champion but he has been the world chess champion one or two times and he's also got the best chess rating (second to me).

Ok... so far the suggestions we have are Aryan Tari, Simen Agdestein, Jon Ludvig Hammer and Magnus Carlsen. All four of these are great players, and it's hard to say which of them is the best. So what do people think? Are there any other names that should be added to the discussion? And if you really had to pick one person as the best Norwegian player, who would you pick?

Magnus is the man right now. 

But I'm also a man, and a lot of people I know I believe are also men. Surely Magnus Carlsen can't be the only man in the world?

Magnus is by far the best.  Jon Ludvig Hammer and Aryan Tari are number two and three. The best girls below ten years is Amelia Nordquelle, Livia Lindstad and Lykke Merlot Helliesen. They are underratet cute monsters with dangerous power. I really hope they continues the good work and grows up to become stong grandmasters. I think their talent is on Aryan-level. Aryan-level is hard to catch. Aryan is 17 years old and already one of the most experienced players in the country. He has for years and years been among the players with most official longchessgames. I think he has an active competitionhistory of ca 10 years. Not bad for a teenager.  The small supergirls also have started competing early and are much more mature than I could imagine. I have met them all, and the way Amelia trashed me on tuesday was artistic, tough and powerful. She felt like a GM that day.

Simen Agdestein have been the most important GM in Norway. He was the first GM ever here (if you dont count in correspondence GM Ivar Bern), and started the rise of Norwegian Chess. Now he is contributing a lot as a teacher at Norsk Toppidrettsgymnas, the chess -class. Aryan Tari, Johan Sebastian Christiansen, Johan Salomon (reigning Norwgian Champion) and most of the strong chessteenagers in Norway are his pupils.
