that's cool
Changes:
The cards that each player will arrange in their hand will only include 1,1,3,3,5,9 and will lay face up on the side of the board.
The value of card is the number on the card.
If you play 2 or more cards, you will put cards face up in descending value hence the lowest number is on the top.
Castling do not cost a card.
If you have a legal move but cannot play because you don't have sufficient card value, you lose.
The same as classical chess rules except for these changes.
Equipment: A 52 Card Deck and a Chess Board with pieces.
Set up: Lay down the Chess Board and their pieces in their respective positions. Separate the deck into two into separate colors. The players will arrange the cards of their own color (The Player with Black pieces will arrange the cards with black colors while the Player with White pieces will arrange the cards with the red colors) and lay them face up on each side of the board. Each player will pick a card in either deck. The player with black pieces goes first and vice versa until all players get enough cards: 4 for the player with black pieces and 3 for the player with white pieces.
How to Play:
1. It is White's Turn.
2. Draw a card on either deck.
3. In order to move, a player must pay a card or cards that have at least the value of a piece he will move. Pawn worth 1, Knight or Bishop worth 3, Rook worth 5, Queen worth 9 and King don't need cards to play. Castling worth 5.
The value of cards are as follows:
Ace-4 worth 1
5-8 worth 3
9,10,J,Q worth 5
K worth 9
3. Put the card or cards face up in any order face up on either deck.
4. End of your turn.
