If you're serious, get a website up and running that explains your variant. Use this website as a great model for explaining:
Next, design some good pieces. The design should make it obvious how the piece moves. Like this:
That piece moves like a Knight and a Rook.
Next have a way for others to draw the board.
Maybe create a page with great example games. And make animated GIFs of great games.
Thanks for the input. I am serious. And I think I may have something here that’s an interesting variation. And I would be shocked if anyone has done it before, maybe a certain aspect of it, but not exactly what I have in mind.
The first step for me though is to figure out the coding to make it work online. It doesn’t need a unique board or anything like that. I would like to test it first with the computer. I am very interested to see how the computer would play it.

How do I create a Chess Variant with unique rules that are not part of the presets?
Are there instructions somewhere on the site? My idea for a variant doesn't seem to complex but it has a few unique rules.
