in many games there is an inadequate play of the engine. I analyzed games using Stockfish and made sure that the engine plays very mediocre, missing out on winnings

i feel if u can reach 2000 u already peaked, coz the system doesnt allow u to get far beyond that...

Counter against vv setup, transposes from my original attacking setup
Forces black to either sac a bishop to put the king on a safe square or put the king on the file of the rooks
this is my favorite pawn structure by far(black only dark squared pawns), so sweet and satisfying to see the engine play well with it <3
I'd like to say, this setup has won me at least 90/5/5 of my games. I went from 1500-1800 in one day with it. Coincidentally I did happen to lose to Heth Barmon, and they suggest i more so fortify the center and add a knight, before I try and fix my setup, I'd like to share some of the other set ups that have brought me success, all of these setups seem to work against knight spam. And king safety is almost never a problem (unless you're down material). In open games, this setup seems to absolutely dominate, you tend to end up, up a piece and have passed pawns throughout the games. Queen spam seems to always be bad as they are too susceptible to attacks, especially against this set up, where there are so many bishops, that in open games, you can basically control every square
I sometimes run this set up for black if white has doubled rooks along the e file, or it seems the game may be closed based on their pawn structure.
This next setup, I find risky if you're opponent places a closed pawn structure, so I tend not to run this against advanced players... I'd say I've one 70-75% of the time when i used this, but it has cost me some rating:
Our best variant's had a fate, that can't be described as great. Raise your voices; not too late. We've got to save automate!
Poem by @longknoll Our battle cry, our weeping lullaby to revive our saviour automight
Can't they bring back Automate?
We all agree it was real great
The king of variants shining bright
For which we have an appetite
With newbies using lots of knight
'Cause Mr Rosen thought it right
And three hundred move long endgame
For which the engine was to blame
Fun ran riot in the chat
With puns and jokes right off the bat
Wild matchings of Elo
1400s 'gainst a pro
There was nought like it at all
It's absence does my heart appaul
Oh Chess.com what have you done?
You've killed such joy and smote such fun
But bring it back
I must beseech
To fascinate, inspire and teach
And radiate our sadder hour
With games to wipe away our glower.
Automate was my favorite feature on Chess.com. I would be willing to pay for a top tier account on Chess.com if Automate were reactivated and made available for play.

if u are reading this, automate variant is no longer here. setup chess is the new replacement, but a shell of the original's glory...automate will always be remembered by a few. the times we shared mucking about the bot's performances, are some of the best memories in chess at least for me. thanks everyone who played with me and taught me lots.

intro to some ideas (named after inventor)
1.baijiudreams. beats alot of setups not targeted to beat it such as 2q or 3q or 4rooks in center
2.conclave. one of the most aggressive setup for white
3.a crispy cjr.
4.crashlands idea of attack. same idea but even more aggressive
5.logiclol. closing center with pawns, very solid
6.longknoll. a modified conclave where bishops can control both sides of baord
7.Jensino's classic vv.
8. jensino's legendary defeat of the 2q conclave
9.very good setup trust me, dont double rooks or they will have hard time getting out
10. another jensino conclave var.
now you get the idea, let me show you a way to invent your own setup
these are all the combos u can go with the number of pawns, first chose a pawn structure u like, preferably 6-8, then adapt to what your opponent is going for, if you decide to add pawns just refer and decide a counter, usually a piece is worth more than few more pawns, but if your position requires defense it is a way to go too.
based on the setups above u already have an idea what works, u can first put same pawns two good setups both have in common, then decide which to use later. the more setups u know, the more u can transpose into.
to understand why u lost after game just use mental math to simplify the same pieces both sides have and see after trading what pieces would be left to match, reason why 2q is great against 1q is coz after trading the side with the queen left has a powerful piece. two bishops usually out perform a rook, three bishops dont win against a queen without alot of extra pawns, but two bishops and a knight is worth more than a queen positional wise.. but there are exceptions that keeps the game interesting, its up to us to figure out the balance. treat a normal chess setup as the middle line (8pawns on all files,4minor pieces, two middle pieces, one heavy piece) automate allows u to shift that balance, most importantly positionally, where everything is decided.
it is possible to find a counter to every setup, coz every pawn structure has a strengths and weaknesses, BUTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT that is not how u play automate. if you know what the setup was then theres no playing. playing means rock paper scissors, where u constantly adapt and create your position, constantly experiment with new ideas and learn from what works what doesnt. here is why staying sub 1500 rating allows u to hunt high elos that use the same setup over and over again , so once u invented a counter as black u can destroy their ego. once u have higher elo u wont be as creative and risk taking, coz u care abt your score.. which will make u regret once u see how the rating system works.
rating system and my past chasing of the 2k barrier stopped me from improving as a player and having fun in general, just got bitter
