The King can move one, two and three squares for the short castle and one, two, three even four squares for the long castle. The Rook must always follow beside the King.

Any thoughts?

You can move the King on each side as many squares as you want! It could be one or five like the example in picture 2

That’s wrong.
If you castle kingside, the king goes to G and the rook to F.
If queenside, king goes to C and rook to D. No matter where they started.
