How well would they fair if they've become flying kings?

they should add a checkers variant to chess.com
Sorta like chesskers where they like replace the pawns with checkers pieces. Its an actual game and it is a confusing one at that.

it would be absolute chaos but sounds fun, i'd play it.
I'm gonna move this post to chess variants because I don't think its off-topic, it's an interesting hypothetical discussion and potential chess variant!
Thanks, also what potential do you think those checkers pieces can do in matches?
I tried a game where my opponent replaced the f8 bishop with a "pao" (from Chinese chess).
I got checkmated in three moves after the opponent's queen landed on f2.
I think that if checkers pieces were placed inside, they would be quite slow in motion.

Unless they become flying kings, of course!

Yeah, checkers pieces can only move one space at a time, and if they became flying kings then they would just be like a bishop that jumps people to capture.

so the checkers pieces can jump over everything on the board?
Everything but the king. Cause it would probably looked cursed to see the most important piece in the game vanish and end up winning the game.

Just change the check rule to include chains of checkers jumps....
This sounds cool.
The pieces are placed in A3, C3, E3 and G3. They can go diagonally front and back and chain capture, but they can't capture if theirs another piece behind it. And if they reach the end of the board they'll become a flying king. How useful would they be?
