Indian Chess

I have an idea for a chess variant called Indian chess

It's a 10 by 12 board (10 files by 12 rows)

no en passant, no castling. the pawns can move up to 4 squares on their first move.

there is a new piece called the elephant. it is next to the bishop.  The  elephant  moves 4 squares forward, backward, left or right, but not diagonally. If it can't move 4 squares left for example, because it's near the edge of the board, then it has to move a different direction.

the setup from left to right is rook, knight, elephant, bishop, queen, king, bishop, elephant, knight, rook.

I like the premise but it needs a catchier name. Something like Indian drum and bass chess.

In all seriousness I like the idea and think chess would sink in better if the pieces were less impersonal and there is more of an educational element. As daft as it may sound I'm even thinking of naming my pieces to help me co-ordinate them in battle. I've just installed SWAT4 so am going to experiement with treating my chess armoury like my element.
