In monster chess, White has only a king and four pawns. However, White is able to make two moves per turn, meaning he may move his king into check on his first move and out of check on the second. Black is in check if his king could be captured on the next turn with two moves for White. If the king is on a8 and White has a pawn on b5, 1. b6 would be check (b7 bxa8=something).

Anyone want to play with me? Here are my moves for White.

Here's a piece of advice:

En passant exists

antisunechess

f5 is this checkmate?

antisunechess

oh no en passant

SapphireRiver

even if there wasn't en passant white could play Ke3 Ke2

antisunechess

Yeah, correct. What is your move?

5. (exf6e.p. fxg7+) and it should be kind of obvious why this is check

This looks bad for white. I would have gone 5.(Kxf5 Ke4)

This is clearly a better move for white. All trades, even if they are unequal, are good for me
