advanced things would be explained later, however, that king in front of white's king's bishop's pawn is not supposed to be there. The pieces that inhabit the rest of the 2 outer rings are shared mob pieces, you could play or not play with them. You could also setup any color anywhere you like. White always go first, but if white is the shared mob pieces, then black goes first.
Turns may either or clockwise or counter-clockwise, it's up to the White Player's Choice.

Thought about making my own 12 player chess set.
It is a 32 by 32 board containing 12 armies and a puppet army.
