On a regular 12×12 board, I would never have moved the corresponding pawn, but as things are here...
So far, I feel sente has a larger relative initial advantage than on the normal board. The pieces chosen, in this configuration, don't work as well as in normal chu shogi. This feels much more tactical, which is to my dissatisfaction.
I give regular chu shogi a score of 97/100, modern shogi a score of 91/100, FIDE chess a score of 84/100, and this a score of 68/100 (tentative).
This is a game of small chu shogi, to be played between @KaijiAUT and dax00.
Small chu shogi is played in the general way that chu shogi is played, except on a smaller board with fewer pieces, and with some rules altered to suit the board change, as follows:
KaijiAUT will have sente. よろしくお願いします。
