idk it's just kind of dumb how the old 960 is separate from the new one in variants.
@Martin_Stahl has stated that each section was made from different devs, so yeah.

I just played a King of the Hill game the second way. There was no way to tell if it even was King of the Hill. The four center squares weren't highlighted like they are when you play the first way.
At least playing 3 Check the second way, check marks appeared on the left as they were made.
It seems like there are two separate ratings for Fischer Random chess.
For one of them, start at the Home Page, click "Play", then "Variants". Then Click Away from "Most Popular" to "Common". The top selection says "Chess 960", and if you click that, and play Blitz games there, they'll show up on the "Chess 960 Blitz" leader list in this same section.
BUT, try starting at the Home Page, click Play, and then click the green "New Game" button on top. Set the time to a Blitz time limit, then change Game Type from Standard to Chess 960, then click Play. You'll get a Fischer Random game, but on a different board type than the one you see the first way (The regular board that allows Pre Moves), and it will show a completely different rating than the one you got playing it the first way.
Also, this second way seems to be the only way to play Crazyhouse. It doesn't seem to be there if you try clicking Play/Variants. Why is this?
