This thread is for anyone with questions and/or comments about the chess variation (4 corners) I recently made. If you are reading this thread, and don't know what 4 corners chess is, the rules are below. (If you are interested in playing a game of 4 corners with me, comment below, and I will set up a game between us.) Anyways, here are the rules:
Rules
1. The game is played with the same rules as chess, except with a few exceptions:
a: the king can be captured. He will still move like a normal king, and goes by the name king
b: the way to win, is to get one piece on each of the four corners. When a piece is on a corner, it can be captured by the opponent, which then owns control of the corner
c: if a player has less than four pieces, the game goes on for 50 more moves, and if at the end of these 50 moves, the opponent has not won, the game is a draw
d: if player gets down to one piece, it cannot be captured, unless doing so will win the game on the move of the capture
e: casting is not permitted
f: if a pawn makes it to the back rank, it may turn into a king
2. If any rules are not stated, they remain the same as normal chess
