4-player chess HOW TO INVITE FRIENDS???

Can somebody help?

When starting a game you select teams and then you type your friends name in the textbox before clicking "play".

You can only invite friends to play team games.

I type username, but it says that there is no such username, strange..

The player you want to invite must also be on the 4-player chess page. If he is, then make sure that your spelling is correct. It should work.

What about playing just friends with four-player chess?

Only playing with a friend as a teammate is possible at the moment. It is a feature we hope to add in the future.

Can there be tree player playing in  the 4 chess thing

It is possible now to play 4 player chess with friends. ffa, teams and many variants available. Go to https://www.chess.com/4-player-chess. Click New Game. Click Custom. Toggle "invite Players" and then I think you can figure out the rest. When you invite a player, that player needs to be at the 4-player chess page to receive the invite. You can also play with bots if you want.

my friends always complain that I can't send them a link and have to instead log onto 4p chess before I type their username in....

it seems that i can't crossover play the 4 player chess

im on pc my friend is on phone

been trying for 10 minutes still cannot see how to play together

Anyone know if it's possible to play 4player chess with people who aren't premium members? Would it work if only 1 player (the host) is a premium member?

None of my friends were premium yet we were able to have an entire match of 4 player chess

Is there a way to generate an invite link for a four player match?

Trying to invite 1 friend to play teams. I assume I hit the orange play button after I type in the friend's username.Is that it? Do I still have to select a game from the list? Can't seem to get it to work most of the time.
