It would be nice to be able to pay a bit more variations on chess com such as dark chess. It's very fun because you can only see the squares your pieces can move to

so it is a exciting battle of the unknown! Would chess.com be able to let us play dark chess in the future? It is very fun.

just use a chess board and post it in a forum...

Now that is exactly something that doesn't work very well for Dark Chess. Because neither of the players must know the position, you would need a third person to act as a referee, and that is usually not easy to arrange. So it is really helpful to play it on a server that acts as referee.

Sounds like you are talking about Kriegspiel.

I can be a ref if you want =D

Kriegspiel is different.  Dark chess is when you can only see your opponent's pieces when they are under attack from one of your pieces.  Also, in dark chess you win by capturing the king, so can move into check without being notified.  It's pretty fun, since you'd have to cover all of the squares around the king.

And, pattrik, that would be too hard, so it's better to use another website with dark chess.  Otherwise people will have to send private messages to the referee telling them their moves, and the referee will have to give them a position, and it's just really hard.
