King of the Hill

It is not that easy to mate the king in the middle of the board, if a player can get his king to the third rank then it is very hard to defend against clearance sacs (i.e. with the queen), you have to have a supported piece to plug the gap.
My experience, which is mostly based on making my program play this, is that running your king directly to the centre is a good way to get slaughtered.

if we get the king to center we win? i have no idea how to play this game there is no rules or intro like four player chess

King of the Hill
Bring your King to the center to win the game.
This variant is quite unique and makes for very intense games. It retains all standard chess rules with the addition of one simple rule. You can play it in normal games, casual or rated, and in tournaments.
Rules
- All the Laws of FIDE chess apply. In particular, a move is legal if and only if it would have been legal in FIDE chess.
- If you make a legal move that moves your King to one of the center squares (d4, d5, e4, e5) you win.
Clarifications
The winning move has to be legal, e.g. you can not move into check. Checkmating your opponent is another legal way to win.
