Raindrop Chess

Here in Denmark, a new variation of chess is coming. Its called raindrop chess, and adds luck to the game.

Don't have time right now, but I'll check it out more later today. Sounds interesting, but I think WalkingBeaver hit the nail on the head.

If some people get tired of chess (or their loses), why don't they go and play cricket or likes, instead of inventing "New Chesses"? 

As a family activity and an introduction to chess, why not?  The irony of introducing chance into the premier game of applied logic has not been lost upon me however, and I can understand why some would take offense.
