Among each players pawns are two spies.
The outer two pieces on the 2nd rank are elite-guards (or called guards) - stronger than guard in other games.
To the king's right is the queen (but has superqueen powers = queen+knight)
Outside of the king and queen are advisors (move as queen in normal chess)
Each army also has two marshalls (R+N) and two cardinals (B+N).
