Chess Mediation -- A New Approach to Improving Chess Intuition

Hey everyone! I've been playing chess for a little under a year now and am always looking for ways to improve my game. One of the biggest things I've noticed when it comes to my ability to play chess well is the state of my mind and ability to control my emotions. Most things available to us, however, don't really assist with these things. It's all based on learning or retaining large chunks of information. Well, either that or engaging our mind actively with puzzles, drills, and simply playing the game itself. This is definitely helpful and of course needed, but I still felt there was a piece missing from a puzzle much larger than the ones that could only help with tactics. When I looked for that missing piece, it didn't seem to quite be there. So it got me thinking--why not just create something? And well, here is the first result of a much larger project I've been working on:

Intuition is best strengthened if it is the priority of improvement. This means analyzing and thinking must be turned off so that the natural intuitive state of our minds can be more fully at work. This video is meant to be an exercise for just that, and I felt that this one specifically has the added benefit of inducing a calm and sleepy sensation. That's why I made it extra long--so it could help people fall asleep while engaging in this practice. I have a few other ideas like this one I'm looking to get started on as well. I want to include a variety of different players, events, types of meditations, different mind states, learning processes, etc. I'd definitely love to hear from as many people as possible! If there is anything that someone is looking for specifically, please don't hesitate to let me know happy.png

I think the positions change much too fast to be relaxing.
