Many clubs are created for fun and I think they play for fun and club ratings and etc. I asked this question to clubs' superadmins and they said they work free, for pleasure.
But I heard there registered clubs and maybe there will be money prizes or payable position for work. I know only this info but maybe there some guys who know better than me!

No, unless they're sponsored or similar to Chess University (that advertises a lot of 3rd party things).
