Chess Kid for Virtual Chess Club

Howdy, all.
I am contemplating starting a chess club for kids at the school I teach at. I am thinking of using Chess Kid. Has anyone had any experience with this? If so: how did it go? What is your advice?

If no: any recommendations would be welcome. All of our clubs are virtual this year, so my usual Soccer Club isn’t happening.

Thanks!

Hey. Chesskid is good for new players and kids under 13. If some kids are better, they can switch to chess.com and can play adults or other kids, like me. Chesskid is kind of like chess.com, but safer because of kids. They want to keep personal information safe. My advice is to get the gold for Chesskid because then they can learn more lessons and get the basic for chess.com. They all include lessons, which is really helpful

Thanks. There are elementary age kids, most of which are just starting out.

Any advice? Has it been successful?

Because they are elementary age kids, then Chesskid would be the best for them. I recommend you make a parent account which monitors the kids, and you can see what they do.
