I’m new to the site. Is there a way of using this site to practice opening repertoires playing against yourself and using the computer to assess best move options.
I know you can evaluate games after you play them and assess for mistakes and alternative best moves. But I don’t see a way of playing against yourself with analysis options?
Or even a way to set up a board to practice positions?
If not, what programs are suggested for this type of study?
Learn>Analysis is what you want. Check show lines and it gives you the top 3 lines 10 or 12 moves deep. And anytime you like you can click on the little open laptop thingy and play the computer. Have fun!
