A question about PGN files of computer analyzed games

Sort:
zxlproject

When you look inside the PGN files of the computer analyzed games, you have an unexplained 'percentage' on the 'White' and 'Black' section.

An example:

[Event "Online Chess"]
[Site "Chess.com"]
[Date "2009.08.16"]
[Round "1"]
[White "0%"]
[Black "3.2%"]

[ECO "C20"]

What do they mean, and why are they occupying that space instead of our names? :P

PS. Oh, and if you have time, please comment on my suggestion of having ability to confirm conditional moves that was posted in General Discussion :) I didn't know about this forum when I was posting that...

I have never seen that before, my pgn file is like this...

[Event "Online Chess"]
[Site "Chess.com"]
[Date "2009.07.24"]
[Round "1"]
[White "budha2"]
[Black "Streptomicin"]
[Result "0-1"]
[WhiteElo "1798"]
[BlackElo "1786"]
[TimeControl "1 in 2 days"]
[Termination "Streptomicin won by resignation"]

 41.Kd3 c4+ 42.Ke3 d4+ 43.cxd4+ Kd5 44.Kd2 Kxd4 45.Ke2 c3 46.Kd1 Kd3 0-1

no percentage ever, that I have seen or know about.

I re-downloaded my analyzed PGN file, and they are still there.

Are you sure you downloaded a computer analyzed PGN file? Because my non-analyzed PGN files do show the names correctly...

Streptomicin

ou, sry. Did not see it was comp analyzed, I will try it now.
