I would like to see this too. This reason for not having this, taking up too much space ? too much work to code it and maybe the question they would ask would be "how many members would use it?"
a question for staff: a problem with the site

I find the "blog" feature less successful than the "forum" one. The only exception being, if you're an established, titled player who regularly publishes instructive material.
I tried publishing the same article as a 'blog' and as a 'forum post'. I got way more views and responses in the 'forum' version - so after that happened, I stopped using 'blogs' altogether.

yes solskytz, and I think one of the reasons the blog is less successful on chess.com is precisely because they have set it up so that you can't search, find, or track blogs. There is tons of great instructional material on people's blogs on here, but chess.com has not yet made it as easy to follow blogs as to follow the much less instructional forums.

The site isn't perfect. A bunch of hard-working people really doing their best.
I guess that it is offered "as is" - and has really awesome content and features that should be gratefully enjoyed. Nobody's perfect and nobody's expected to be :-)
If anything is amiss, it's possible to request privately from the site management to do something about it - but one should understand when not every defect can be corrected, or the priorities of each one of 8.7 million members (and growing) be satisfied... who knows how many people contact them daily with complaints and requests... these guys surely deserve a break. They are generally doing quite wonderfully.
I'm very happy that this website exists. Some of its features are truly revolutionary!

What exactly do you not understand?
Chess.com has 8.7 million members, give or take. The number increases by several thousand daily.

me too. I'm very happy with it, and plan to be here for a long time. I have posted requests directly to staff and to help forums about the inability to track, search, or bookmark blogs, and I haven't received a response yet. It is certainly not a priority of theirs.

Could be :-) but it is still a fantastic site, with lots of bang for your money.
The free membership is also very generous and lets you do lots of things, such as play, get a rating, post in forums and read them.
In short - a blessing. I count on becoming a titled player at some point and getting my diamond for free - but it probably won't happen in 2014. I'd be very surprised if it does!

you don't have to sell me on it solskytz! I'm a diamond member! I started this thread to talk about the problem with tracking blogs, in an effort to get some attention from staff who didn't respond to my 2 direct support tickets requesting help with tracking blogs. Its okay if you don't want to talk about that, but that's what this thread is for.

The 8.7M figure relates to the total number of accounts that have ever been opened, on this site (including closed, dormant, abandoned and duplicate accounts). This is no way describes the total amount of members or active accounts.

Yeah, don't believe the hype.
Under forums there are "forums I have posted in" "forums I am tracking" yet there is no such thing for blogs. Is there a reason for this? If so what is the reason? It would be beneficial for users to be able to see "blogs I am tracking" and "blogs I have posted in". There is much educational material in the blogs, and as a paying member of ths site I am disappointed that I cannot easily access and track this material.
