Abandoned games?

Hello All,

I'm fairly new to chess, and equally new to the chess.com community. I love the app and have really gotten into playing the online games.

However, at least half of the challenges I accept or create star with one move, then I get an email that the game has been aborted. Why do folks do this? I'm not seeing the plus side.

Sorry if this has been asked before, I'm just getting pretty frustrated.

Also if anyone wants to actually have a game (with a bit of a newb) feel free to send me an invite :)

Hey rob, send me a game invite or two and we can play

New players get confused with online. They don't realize it is postal style chess and just abandon the game. I am a greeter and play new unrated games with new players. 90% never get finished.
