Accused of Cheating

So, I was just playing some 1 min 2 sec games on live chess. After loosing the first two I won 3 in a row. At the start of the 4th game he made a comment stating,  you have a nice engine. After the game, (I won) I asked him if he really thought I cheat, he said yes. At which point I thanked him for the games, thanked him for thinking I was as good as an engine, and said that I didnt want to play with anyone who thought I cheated.

What do people think about being accused of cheating? In general and in Live chess?

Do you think of it as a compliment to your game or an attack on your honor? Do you care, you probably dont know the person and may never? Love you hear your thoughts.

I would care for sure, whether I've known the person for one day or ten years. No one likes to be called a cheater. I guess some people just can't be reasoned with

What should I do if my opponent accuses me of cheating?
If your opponent accuses you then you can just disable chat and continue your game with a clear conscience (assuming you are not cheating!). Don't worry about accusations, just play your game. If you want you can add them to your blocked player list so they cannot contact you again.

Dude/ette, you are human, so of course you care what someone thinks of you!   As far as chess.com thinking you are a cheater, don't sweat it.  I'd definitely agree with IC; block that jerk.
