3rd year annual fee of $29 (Aus) were due. $38.55 off my account via Paypal. Receipt from Chess.com for $29. Where did the balance go? Bank says not their problem. 11m plus members.... this could be very lucrative for someone! Does anyone know where or how to inform Chess.com?

It's $29 US.  The difference is just the conversion to Australian dollars. Sorry, the Australian dollar is weaker against the US dollar this year versus last year.

Looks like the Australian dollar was trading at above 1:1 against the US dollar in 2011 and 2012. You probably bought more things from the US then. Since then, the Australian dollar has weakened sharply. If you probably don't buy a lot from the US, you probably haven't noticed. (On the other hand, we're seeing a lot of inexpensive Australian lamb and beef in the last few years, so that's good for Australian farmers.)

/Chess.com doesn't have 11 million paying members. They haven't published the number of paying members, but I would guess it is well under 1 million.

If ever you would feel the need to directly address a concern to Chess.com, you would click "Help & Support" at the bottom of each page.
