When you lose, is it mostly on time or by checkmate?

I would say you should do your puzzle battle every day. Also analyze your losses due to checkmate. See where you are going wrong.

Keep smart on moving your pieces as logical and keep calm, don't threw your panickness and stay aware your time. Also very important to have fast internet cause that's really matter to your bullet time. i often lose cause my internet has max at only two bars:)

You can also work on your chess at longer time controls and this helps your pattern recognition...which naturally makes finding good moves in bullet chess easier (since there is little time to think, pattern recognition to know what to do basically on instinct helps a lot).

If you must stick with bullet/blitz, then @triangleterry75 had good advice.

I don't feel it's good to give you tips only regarding bullet . Bullet game is nothing but a chess game with very short time control. So, your focus should be to improve your chess first. If you master that , then it's time to focus on specific time controls. Get yourself better in pattern recognition by solving puzzles. Take your own time to come up with the idea. It's not something that you can achieve overnight. It's gonna give you some hard time for sure. But, at the end , it's all worth it. Once you master this skill, you can play very good in bullet games naturally. And once you cross this stage, if you feel you are losing bullet games despite having played very well in the game, that's when you should think about other bullet specific technical skills like safe premoving , dealing with dirty tricks and most importantly mouse skills. I am sure, you can learn these skills very easily as they come with practice. You just need to keep grinding consistently. That's it. Hope it helps you. Wish you good luck 🙂

playing puzzle battle is a great way to improve your bullet. You get the same sense of competitiveness, and being able to spot a tactic within seconds is a very good skill to have. Plus it will help you move fast
