Bad connection, which time format chess game suits u best?

I have a really bad bad connection, it is as slow as a turtle or tortoise which ever is slowest creature!
Wondering if you have a love for speed chess, and connection happens to be poor most of the week except few hours during sundays(I can play 4 blitz games without interruption by visiting a nearby house located at the summit of hill that is well respected for its good coverage!
Correspondence isn't that interesting for me, as it takes longer the turtle! :P
Any suggestions, comments, or any helpful advice please?
