I believe this is actually in development, though it has been for a veeeeery long time. Not sure if it's high on the priority list.
Bughouse Chess
I would probably be on this website sooo much more if they had it developed, Im sure it woulnt take tht long to develop, just use the same code for regular chess but transfer the pieces between games?

I have no idea how much is invovled in the coding side of it, I just meant that it was on a list of intended ideas to develop. There was a few other chess variants on there too, but I'd say bughouse would be the best of them
From my experience, this site spends a lot more time on updating the current features and fixing bugs than on the development of new features. That being said, it is still my favourite chess site at the moment.
I agree this is still a great site, I don't know what possible bugs there is, I haven't experienced any. But I amd so keen if they are actually developing bughouse chess! That pretty much mean you can 'team double' it with a mate or anything. :) This is the best site I have found, Im not the greatestat chess but I do like quality :)

Love chess.com I would probably think long hard about renewing my diamond membership and buying one for my son (hint, hint) if chess.com would add bughouse. He is now a high school player on the team I coach and heloves to play it and always wants to be my partner so we can whoop on his friends. Please chess.com add bughouse! Thanks.

Hear, hear.
'Bughouse chess (also known as Exchange chess, Siamese chess, Tandem chess, Transfer chess, Double bughouse, Cross chess, or simply bughouse or bug) is a popular chess variant played on two chessboards by four players in teams of two. Normal chess rules apply, except that captured pieces on one board are passed on to the players of the other board, who then have the option of putting these pieces on their board.'

On topic, I believe chess.com should incorperate this into their website, chess gets more or less lonely at times. I personally play for casual reasons and would love this style so I can have company while I play chess.
I have always been a typical chess player, going for mind vs mind style, but imagine doubling that power? Having 2 teams of 2 playing eachother, assisting eachother verbally, and ultimte learrning chess quickly. The first time I played it, I became addicted.
