Whenever i chose 1/3 days and minus or plus x, the engine just searches forever and nothing happens. Been two days now… any clue ? I’ m on iphone 12.

Daily games challenges shouldn't show a search. If there's not a compatible game seek already out there it just puts it in the Open Challenges.
How are you accessing the site? App or website?

Sorry. I am confused. You are talking about daily chess.
There are a number of selections.
On the website, you can choose 1 day per move or 3 days per move or 7 days.
And then there is a link for "More Time Controls" which does bring up more options for live chess and daily chess.
The additional options are for 2 days and 5 days and 14 days.
You said you are trying to set up a 1 day or a 3 day?
There is no option for 1/3.
But then you say plus or minus x.
Why would there be a plus or minus x in daily chess?
There is no increment option in daily.
