Can't get rid of notifications

This is troubling because I can't see the important ones re games / vote chess management etc, all the social / forum based notifications are listed first, and they won't go away if I click the X.

Not good.

I can't see my responsibilities outside my own games.

Hopefully is sorted by tomorrow, really silly that they make these kinds of changes at the start of the weekend instead of at the start of the week when we know they will be harder at work.

Once again I am on Ubuntu and Firefox and yeh this makes me think I should get a fresher install of both.... very time consuming.

Yeah there are some notifications, we can get rid only if we open them ..... otherwise after clicking X, they just continue to appear again and again.....

Goodness sake, and they mess around with chatwindows instead of sorting this out!

That's something, that was a problem for this account a few months ago, yet hasn't been a problem for a while.

It's working for me today, but yesterday I couldn't make moves in one of my game (for the short period of time that I was logged on) so that was frustrating. Slightly different issue but the bugs seem to have arrived for me at the same time.

Luckily I think I would have lost anyway.

Am gonna upgrade my OS and ditch and reinstall my FF and if problems persist, I will blame this site.

You might as well save time and blame the site right now. :-)) Just install the uBlock Origin extension into Firefox and use the "block element" feature.

How is that going to help?
