Chess 960 on live chess

you're better off under a omnipotent, omniscient, benevolent dictator ;)
Sounds like something my dad would say. haha
But I do support 960 on live. There's my 4 cents.

this doesn't help. it irritates. we'll do this when it's time, not when you bump the thread. thanks :)

uhuh, just making sure. But I really, really, really, really, really hope it happens!

how would you know Paul211
To be honest I do not know at all, just waiting for Erik to try to give an estimated time frame and this is how I put my question to him.
Could have said:
1. When will this happen?
2. What is the priority on this item?
3. What is the expected time implementation time?
4. When can we expect an answer?
5. Is this request of importance to you? And what priority do the members give to this implementation?
Unless Erik probes the community at large on the development of the site, no one will ever know what's in the works.
If a survey is conducted listing all of the future items under development and the expected time frame, than we have an opportunity to have our say.
But this is not happening anymore.
The decision making or selection process of an added implementation item has moved slowly but surely And if this did happen, chess.com might be better off at the end of the day.
Not saying that all of our priorities will be respected as Erik's vision his is own and knows what is best for his site.
However input from the community on other than profit making impolementations, which are more than legitamate if you run a business, which is the goal of any entity in business, might put more perspective on the needs of the community as was done a year ago or so.
Curently there is no time table published on projects ahead and no list of projects.
I realize that chess.com does not have to do this as it is a private company. But I prefered the time when the opinion of the community at large was surveyed.
And even if today a poll or survey at large was done to find out what next implementations are more desirable, it is still Erick's choice to select and decide what is best for his site.
What I say is ask the 1 million people on this site for their opinion.
If two brains are better than one, what about one million+? Or even 1% of a million?
Have you not seen this? http://www.chess.com/forum/view/community/so-many-new-features-coming-soon
"why do you think i'm in the forums ALL the time? i'm reading, listening, observing. i'm just not reporting back everything i think or learn. that would cause unnecessary friction for me. "
Erik, the invisible and near silent wind beneath our wings.
