I also have been inundated with tracking cookies and can't figure out how I have options for "strictly necessary" cookies and other tracking software. RX.io, doubleclick and all sorts of others flash around at the bottom of my screen and this is invasive and should be optional. I believe by law we should be able to opt in or out of getting our electronic innards analyzed by third party entities. I think this is a fair and important question. Can anyone answer this for me? ( and the guy above who initially posted this valid concern?). Why don't Chess.com users, especially Paying diamond users like me, not have toe option to do so. I thought we would have the capacity to "opt out" for all the tracking cookies and other thurd party stuff which are not "strictly essential". If anyone can answer this please inform... (I love chess and I still suck but this question is valid)
Please someone correct me if I am wrong but I believe the PECR for chess.com does not conform to legislation.
Currently when I open the site I am already opted in and to opt out I have to select 'literally' hundreds of opt out options.
PECR States:
Consent cannot be implied.
It must be as easy to withdraw consent as it is to give it.
Opting is extremely difficult and time consuming.
I understand the need for advertisement but I do not wish to be tracked and monitored.
Is there an easy way to opt out permenantly?
