Chess staff impersonated message?

Sort:
Quiche31

I just received a message from the "chess.com staff" robot user (http://www.chess.com/members/view/CHESScom), that advertises a new program for recruiting developers. The message ends with a dubious link, that the recipient is invited to click onto. Chess.com staff, please confirm that you this message is NOT genuine. If this is the case, depending on the individual's security setting, clicking on such link can potentially execute malicious code in the recipient's browser. Please let chess.com users know about such threat.

In any case, it's still good to remind people that there is stuff like this out there.

Look at the domain: goo.gl. If you think it is real, then clik on the link and let us know what happens. We need a reply from a Chess.com representative on such question. If it's genuine please use chess.com domain, that we all trust.

goo.gl is google's link shortening service, the e-mail is legit.

And clicking the link brings you to a Google Docs form. Yes, I tried it.
