Yo man I have the same problem, eric basically forced everyone to go Firefox, including myself but I only use FireFox with Chess.com, but he should support Opera since he supports nearly all the other ones besides IE.
Chess.com and the Opera web browser

Here's the deal: we're a small company :) Just a few people. We are resource-constrained meaning that we don't have enough time or money to do everything we want to (as opposed to Microsoft which has so much time and money that it makes things worse). Anyway, when looking at the list of things to do to improve Chess.com we have to compare things like Team Tournaments which will benefit 90% of the people on the site vs. fixing bugs for opera which will benefit 1% of the people on Chess.com. It's not hard to make that decision. Plus, Opera is the one at fault - their JavaScript rendering clearly isn't correct since IE and FF both work. I think Opera should be the sone to fix it since they are the ones out of line :)

Well that's good to know, thanks for clarifying that for us Erik. I'll make sure submit a few bug reports to the Opera dev team.
BTW, I still love chess.com!
Hey everyone,
I use the Opera browser to play chess.com at work, and I just got a new laptop and it does the same issue that I was having on my old one (which I had dismissed as it was a POS). The issue is when I'm moving a piece and let go of it, it disappears, sometimes it can be found in the top left corner (whether playing white or black). Just curuious if anyone else has notices this.
Thanks
S
