Great!
Chess.com App for Palm Pre, Pixi, WebOS

Erik,
just upgraded to the Palm Pre Plus. I'll let you know once I get the app loaded on it. :)
Thanks,
Cyber

Looks like CyberSensei's problem was a glitch, and the games are retrieved. Feel free to contact me here with issues or at palm-support@chess.com if you run in to any problems!

tactics trainer is for version 2 (out in February), videos in version 3... current games should definitely be working though! It does sometimes take a second or two to render after they've been retrieved.... i'm wondering if the games don't appear 'cause the phone is low on memory? maybe if you close some other cards?
[edit] Turns out this was a real bug that was occurring when there were more than 10 games in the list. It has been fixed in version 1.0.1 which is now available at the link posted above. sorry for the inconvenience!
Is the chess.com app for US-users only? Can't install it, there is a message "not available for your country".
That restriction is sad and unnecessary. Please give it free for all countries.
Is there an chess.com app for blackberry?

I cannot login either through my Palm Pre. The 'chess.com' app version is 1.1.0. I read reviews from other Palm users; apparently many of them can't login or register either.

Re: the login problems with 1.1.0, this problem is discussed here: http://www.chess.com/forum/view/community/palm-webos-login-bug
long story short, it's working again now!

Love this app. Is this the final build, or should we expect future updates (I think I recall the iphone having more features such as the conditional moves, etc)? If not, no biggie, just be nice to see more features as I get more and more addicted to chess.com :)

love the app -- it has brought me back to chess.com! thank you. any plans for future updates to bring the app up to speed with it's iphone/android counterparts? thanks again for the good work!
This app works very well for me. I'm using version 1.2.5 - strangely, this update removed a feature that I thought was really good - when you first open the app, it used to automatically open the list of games for which it is your move. Now, when it opens, all lists are collapsed, slowing everything down (every time you tap to open anything, it has to think for a few seconds while it downloads, renders, etc).
We are close to releasing an application for Palm users!
You can try it out here:

Enjoy!
