If I don't resign when you have a clearly winning position against me, know that it is not my fault. I sometimes play on my Kindle and chess.com doesn't show the resign button (or draw button) on a Kindle. I really don't mean to be rude so absent a quick checkmate, you will just win an abandoned game. Blame the programmers at chess.com, not me.
(I love my Kindle so I am not getting some different device for lying in bed and computing).
On the the newest chess.com app, (I play on my tablet) there is a menu button on the left bottom that brings up more choices, including resign. Hope that helps. :)
Are you playing on a Kindle Fire HD? To the right of the chessboard and above the movelist are some options; the second button has the resign/abort button.
