In much the same way that Member Points indicate how active you are in the Forums - Tournament Points indicate how active (and successful) you are in tournaments.

Tournament points do seem a little silly. Esp. as they don't really indicate how successful you've been in tournaments. It could be you're doing well or you just play a lot of tournaments, no?

According to the formula, you have finish in the top half in order to get any points.
Each tournament has a number of assigned points. Why do I need these points?
