Chess.com pricing

I was have been thinking about upgrading my membership to this great site for a while now. 

On deciding which package to go for I did notice a bit of a disparity between the pricing for the three packages between the iPad and the site.

The top picture is the prices when using the iPad app, and the bottom picture is the prices when on the Website.

Anyone know why this is?

If you purchase via IOS devices, apple collects a hefty 30%. I guess this is a way to encourage people to upgrade via chess.com directly and avoid paying apple. I agree and prefer to fully give the money to chess.com rather than have a middleman take 30% off. Its preferable to do it via chess.com and the benefits are the exact same as you get your premium account on the app too.

Good thinking Zewill. I never considered the hefty Apple tax surrounding iOS purchases.

That settles it then... I'll buy from the website.
