The early spike down was because I lost a game or two and at that early point it pretty much backstabbed my rating.

It doesn't really answer the question though- do you have a tournometer?
That is my online chess graph. When I first started, I played more live chess than online chess and I didnt think before I moved in my online games. The huge decrease at about December 26th was me timing out due to Christmas :(.
Since then, I have just kept on improving! My second "major lapse" between June 1st and mid July was probably because I was spending more time on revising for exams than playing chess! Since then, I have gone back up to what I was before the exams but I havent seen much improvement :(. I think I have hit a "plauteau".
Anyway back to my tournometer, I dont have one as I only have completed 1 tournament it seems. Oh well :)
