Hi all,

I'm pretty new to this site and chess in general, as I've been studying for only a month now. I'm currently working through the Chess Master academy lessons, along with Chess Mentor, Tactics Trainer, and playing the odd game.

I love it, it's really addictive not just the game, but the whole learning process in general. I'd like to convey my appreciation for the site, I think it's fantastic. It's clean, easy to use, good looking and packed full of content.

Great work Dev team!

Hey Ryan,

Welcome to chess.com! The chessmaster tutorial system is very good consider how extensive it is. Go through the the chessmaster academy's opening moves tutorials a few times. Also go through the "Art of Learning" games as well. If you need any game analysis of help, just let me know. I teach chess and do game analysis on a regular basis.

Where does one find this "tutorial system" and "the Art of learning"?

Thanks.

Hi Hugh,

thanks, that would be really good. I've gone through the academy but there's so much content that I'm going through it again! Smile

I haven't studied the opening moves yet, but I'm aware of the general playing principles when playing the opening moves.
