Hi all,

Just to give some clarity here, there are many other reasons why an account would be closed for abuse other than just the content they post in the public forums.

Also, when an account is closed for abuse, their public facing posts in the forums etc are removed automatically by our systems.

To address another query from this thread: Chess.com allows each member to have two accounts, with approval from support! This can be seen in our FAQ article: Can I have multiple accounts?

Hopefully this helps to clarify some of the misconceptions in this thread and give some transparency tongue.png.

Really appreciate all the input you have in helping to ensure our community is kept safe and keeping it a friendly atmosphere for all.
