@OmShruti, I'm going to give my observation here, and just as a warning, I'm going to be quite blunt. I haven't really said anything, but from observing hundreds of posts made in the last few weeks, it seems you are easily offended. Now, what I mean by that is that you take things too close to heart. You let it bother you, and that leads to you to treating a mostly harmless post like harassment. If you don't let it bother you (what do random people on the internet know who you really are?), you will go quite well. A ball thrown your way can be easily dodged, or your skin can be as hard as a wall, and the ball simply bounces off. In both cases, the "problem" is nothing.
Personally, I have an exoskeleton (physically and mentally), so nothing really phases me, even though I'm emotionally sensitive. I have been called many things (worse than what you have been called) and I laugh at them. I actually find people's attempts to break me down funny. That's because no matter how hard they try, I know they don't define my identity. You can do the same. I watched a talk earlier talking about taking responsibility for yourself. Essentially, if you aren't happy with something, change what you can change. Yourself! You can't change other people, but you can change your reaction to it. I'm going to close with a great quote:

Some people are willing to help, but they just don't know there's a movement. Besides, positive reinforcement and willing to give people a listen works. They may change, but there is no guarantee.
