Computer Analysis Retrieval

Once you have gone through the computer analysis of your game, can you come back and view the computer analysis again later?

I haven't been able to find out how to do that - if indeed, you can.

  1. You will have received a message for each analysis you have requested. You could look through your old messages and retrieve the game reference (although old messages get deleted after a while).
  2. In the Games Archive listing, there is a symbol next to games which have been analysed. Clicking on that symbol will open the analysis.
  3. You can also choose to list ONLY ANALYSED GAMES in your Games Archive.

Thank you.  I haven't been able to get it to work through the Archive listing, but the message thing works.

I find that this site is very confusing - somehow there must be an easier way to set it up so that navigating could be easier.

PLAY -> Online Chess.

Scroll down the screen to Finished Games.

Click on View Games Archive.

Next to the dropdown menu offering Turn-Based Games, Live Games, etc., there should be a tickbox marked Analysed Only.

There is no "Finished Games" on the Online Chess tab off of the Home page.

HOME -> Online Chess.

shows me my current games. These are displayed as chessboards (since I've selected View as Grid rather than View as Table).

When I scroll past all of my current games, it shows me Finished Games as a table. There is the option to View Games Archive.

Do you see something different?

rooktoking4

No, there is nothing after Online Chess that shows my current games.  All I have is Play Chess at your pace below which there is an orange panel that says "Play Online Chess Now".

On the right side is a menu of Home, Start New Game, Seek Players, etc.

Perhaps you don't have any current games? Have you played any turn-based games?

Click on your HOME page. Click on the Activity tab.

Scroll down the right hand side. Below your ratings, you should see Games Archive. Click on that.

Click on the view button next to a game. Click on the Analyse in Live link.

I would expect you to get a message when the game has been analysed - containing a link to the analysis.

However, I have never analysed any Live games.

When I am on the Home page there is no activity tab.  There are Play, Learn, Share, Forums, More.

I play 3-5 games a night, so there certainly is activity.

Click on HOME. (This takes you to your homepage, not chess.com's homepage.)

Click on Profile (near the top left corner, under your avatar).

The Activity tab should now be active.

Scroll down the right hand side. Scroll to the bottom of the yellow pane. Scroll past your set of ratings, you should see Games Archive. Click on it.

Click on the View button next to a game. Click on the Analyse in Live link.

However, I have never analysed any Live games.

I didn't bother reading everything just the op question :

You can just go in the game via Game Archive and click on the computer analysis .. it will go into the analysis page.
