I don't know, try some free downloadable engines. I think arena+Houdini 1,5 is a great combination, but there is probably something better. However, have you heard of Chess Titans? Its a free chess computer game, where Ctrl+Z is takeback. It takes a long time to think on level 10 though.

You mean you miss clicked and dropped your own rook in danger.
Anyway, to save having to blame the game for your errors in future 😛, you can click on the piece and then on the square you want to place it. You don't have to drag the piece.
Alternatively, I think you can set it up so that there is a 'submit' button in live. That way you'd always have to click that to finalise your move. It would hinder you in short time controls, but in the length of game you are talking about here, it would be fine.
