and unfortunately we cannot do anything about the dropdowns behind the computer opponent - that is a weird issue with JAVA applets :(

First time I've ever seen a thread where the only person to comment is erik and no one else (sorry to spoil it) =/
I'm not really that into cars. Anything that is relatively, in good condition, and has most of the modern features (AC is #1 priority, but power locks and CD player are nice, while stuff like GPS is not necessary for me), but that Lamborghini gets me pretty excited. Perhaps one day when Chess.com goes big time, erik and the staff can roll up to meetings with potential investors in one of those. Gotta love the butterfly doors!
Two things, First, Just checking, -- you are aware of the bugs with the new computer opponent interface: the drop down menus that appear when you roll over -- Play Learn Read Forums etc. -- go behind the board, and also the board only looks correct in one browser zoom setting, so those of us who use a zoomed in setting get a chopped off board... at hi zooms the board is completely unusable (what with having 36 squares).
Secondly -- shouldn't we have a contest to name to the new computer opponent, and the winner wins some fabulous prize, like a blind date with Eric's bachelor cousin, Onan-the-Hirsute... or perhaps a chess.com mousepad, or t-shirt, or maybe a chess.com Lamborghini Murcielago --
Think how great that would look with chess.com logo on the hood...
