right now. there are matches this afternoon, so there are only a couple hours left to make predictions for the first matches.

as i was typing "friends" it occurred to me that it was presumptuous to assume people didn't hate me...

Are there any eligibility restrictions. I assume if you play in the USCL you aren't eligible for this, what about team managers, TDs, etc.

anyone is eligible. uscl players and managers as well!

Even Pete Rose?! I'm sure he'd be happy to be eligible for something.

bff I guess this contest is intended to create more awareness of the existence and playing dates of the USCL

blackfirestorm666, I have only recently been learning about the U.S.C.L. myself, so trust me... my selections will be further off base than most! 

I took a look at the page that the link above is for and I don't even understand the scores (1.5, 2.5?)

you'll have to read up a little more if you want to understand.

the league is played in 4 game matches. every team has a roster of 9 players. each week they pick 4 players to play the match, against another team from the league.

there was also a link included in the first post in that thread that would show you all the board-by-board matchups (copied here). so you predict how many points each team will score; although the main thing is to guess correctly which team will win (or if it will be a draw).
