Difference in player skill between premium and free members?

I've just dropped back from premium to free membership and I'm noting that in my rating range (I swing between 1100-1300 depending on how much I concentrate while playing) the free players seem to be around around 100 rating points weaker in terms of play given the same chess.com rating.

I know Matt Jensen and Jesse Buss from Chessgoals have the comparison of ratings between OTB and the various online websites but I'd like to know whether there really is a "true" ratings difference between free and premium players. I do know that as a premium player you tend to play more premium players so that this could lead to a ratings divide between the two player pools.

I've never seen any actual data on that.

It’s probably slightly higher because if additional resources and better analysis but other than that it wouldnt change much

I bought a membership last year and quite quickly noticed I was playing against stronger players at the same elo level. that membership ended yesterday and again I'm noticing i'm playing weaker players.

There is no evidence that there is a difference. You decide against what level you want to play in parameters in giving a bracket of players' levels.

anyone who wants to go and check the average rating of premium and free members (somehow) should know this-

premium is given for free to tiled players so its higher

This is simply not true.

"First of all, if you hold a qualifying title (see list below), you get a lifetime Diamond membership for free

see, it is true

you are simply incorrect.

I just wanted to say that when i bought the membership i dropped about 200 elo, now when it ended, i have gained about 200 in a short amount of time. When you have a membership you play way more players who also have a membership, and those apear to be stronger

Yes premium members are better players and better human beings as well. Free members are like homeless crowd living on the streets and eating out of dumps

I am OK with the rating bracket of my random opponents (basically at my level), but I wonder where you can define the highest and lowest rating that you're willing to play against. Is it in the user profile, or in Settings?
