I would write to support@chess.com and ask to check if it has been cancelled.
Does deletion of an account cancel the membership?

Well, my answer would be the same, except you can't just email support. You have to use their Contact Us form.
My brother cheated in an online chess match awhile ago but recently he bought the platinum membership, and a day later his account got banned. Does the membership cancel automatically? If not how would we go about cancelling it.
